DDAW & ADDAW
Our Cabin Safety Solutions
These are safety technologies that detect and alert the driver to fatigue and distractions. These systems are designed to ensure the driver can continue driving safely on the road and typically work in conjunction with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Additionally, they can work with appropriate infrastructures to recognize the driver by their face and detect authorized users. With the introduction of DDAW & ADDAW, which came into our lives through the GSR Regulation, this technology will become standard in all vehicles, starting from 2022 in Europe-approved vehicles and extending to all vehicles by 2026.

01
DDAW & ADDAW
DDAW (Driver Drowsiness and Attention Warning) and ADDAW (Advanced Driver Drowsiness and Attention Warning) are systems designed to detect driver fatigue and inattention. DDAW alerts the driver when signs of drowsiness or inattention are detected. ADDAW is a more advanced version, providing more precise warnings. Both systems aim to enhance in-vehicle safety and are becoming mandatory in an increasing number of vehicles in Europe.
DDAW and ADDAW are part of the General Safety Regulation (GSR). These systems aim to improve cabin safety by detecting driver fatigue and inattention.
